We understand that your pets are like family, and it’s our top priority to make you feel comfortable with the care we provide them.
To offer more information on the services we provide, we’ve included a list of frequently asked questions below. If you have any queries or concerns about something we did not mention, please reach out and ask.

What vaccinations does my pet need to visit Tuscarora's Country Club for Dogs?

All canine patrons must be up to date on the following vaccinations: Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, & Rabies. All feline patrons must be up to date on the following vaccinations: Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia, Chlamydia, & Rabies. The Feline Leukemia vaccination is reccomended but not required.
How do I make a reservation?

To make an online reservation, please find your way to the banner menu at the top of the website page. From this point, you can select the following options from the drop-down menu: boarding reservation form, return guest short form, & day care. Please fill out these forms in their entirety and push the "submit" button. If you are unable to use our online reservation forms, please give us a call at (704) 436-6122 and we will be happy to help reserve a stay over the phone.
Should I bring my dog's food from home?

To maintain your pet's normal diet, we suggest that you bring your pet's own food from home; this helps prevent digestive upsets for your dog. However, we do offer a grain-free option for $3/per meal.
Does Tuscarora's Country Club for Dogs allow pets who are not spayed or neutered?

Yes, Tuscarora's Country Club for Dogs does accept unaltered or intact pets. All play yards are monitored by our Playtime Coordinators.
What are the hours of operation?

We are open from 8am - 4pm during the week; 9am - 12pm on Saturdays; closed on Sundays. We cannot recieve pick-up or drop-off services during non-business hours.
Can Tuscarora's Country Club for Dogs administer medications to my pet?

Yes, we do offer medication adminsitration services. Our Kennel Technicians are thoroughly trained in administering medication. However, we do not administer insulin, Sub Q, or injections. We apologize for any inconveinence. We ask that all prescription medication do come in the original medication bottle for ease of dosage organization & liabilty purposes.
Can I bring my pet's favorite bedding, blanket, and toys from home?

Yes! We want our guests to feel at ease, the feel and scent of an item from home has a great impact on comfort. However, we do ask that all valuable and irreplaceable items are left at home. We ask that if your pet has a habit of tearing up and ingesting their toys, that those items be left at home.
What is the minimum age for a pet to board at Tuscarora's Country Club for Dogs?

All puppies and kittens must be at least 16 weeks of age and have received their third booster set of vaccinations: Rabies, DAPP (3 rounds of Distemper), & Bordetella.
How are dogs assigned into play groups?

For the safety of our guests, dogs will be separated into play-yards based on size, activity level, and temperament. A family of dogs may also be assigned to the same play group.
What is included in doggy daycare?

Your pup will enjoy three let-outs in which they will get to play with their furry friends and our playtime coordinators. Doggy Daycare patrons also recieve a complementary nature trail walk.
Where are you located?

Tuscarora's Country Club for Dogs is nestled on 30+ acres in the heart of Mount Pleasant, NC located off of HWY 49. The kennel address is 10900 Cruse Rd, Mount Pleasant, NC.
Can I tour the facilities?

Yes! You may tour our facilities. However, we are experiencing a busy season due to a surge in vacations, the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out, and the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions on traveling. Tours are by APPOINTMENT ONLY, offered on Tuesdays-Thursdays from 9am-10:30pm & 1pm-2pm. WE DO NOT OFFER TOURS ON THE DAY OF CHECK-IN OR CHECK-OUT.
